A classy, full-bodied, dry white wine. Brilliant straw-yellow color with pronounced legs. Aromas of fresh apple, white fruits, a hint of honey, and subtle spiciness. Exceptional mineral texture, great complexity, and a very harmonious palate with a long finish. A perfect pairing for river or sea fish with vegetables. Serving temperature: 14°C.
IT ALL BEGAN WITH A VOLCANIC CHARACTER
The story begins in 1934, in the province of Verona, when Augusto Dal Cero purchased, in the commune of Roncà, a very unusual piece of land, dominated by two extinct volcanoes, Crocetta and Calvarina. He knew that this steeply-ascending property would require much hard work, but he was not the man to be scared by hard work. He had his heart so set on that land that he had had to sell another to purchase it.
