Tasting notes

Exceptional fortified wine. Bronze coloured with green hue in the tears. Fine velvety nose with dried nuts, dried candied fruit and oriental spices such as vanilla , cloves and cinnamon. Complex texture with gossamer delicacy and distinctive mouth-filling. Rich, lush and tertiary finish. Goes well with everything, excluding raw and poached fish. Excellent with oriental spiced mushroom ragout, rabbit with prunes, mature cheeses with washed rind and caramel custard. The longer it is open, the better it gets. Serving temperature: 15°C
