De Martino Chardonnay ´Tres Volcanes´
Full-bodied rich dry white wine with deep straw-yellow colour and green tears. Spurting exuberant nose full of flint and stone fruit, fresh herbs, notes of butter and brioche, but especially minerality, still fairly closed first. Distinguished flavour onset with punchy acids and again plenty of flint in the aftertaste. Solid texture, clenched, ask for aeration. Classy wine! Partners well with baked white sea fish, like turbot and cod. Can handle rich garnishes, as well as white and green vegetables cooked in butter, root vegetables and seafood risotto, best with salty matured hard cheeses. Up to five years, best to allow to breathe for one hour in a wide carafe. Serving temperature: 14°C.
