Note di degustazione
Broad-shouldered powerful red wine with exceptional balance, almost inky with brightly coloured tears. Complex nose of black currants, blackberry, blueberry and black pepper – of exceptional ripeness. Powerful flavour that longs to breath, so transfer to carafe is definitely recommended to let it bloom. Distinctive texture in which acids and tannins seek and find balance together. Long-lasting aftertaste of blackcurrant with a spicy finale. Fits perfectly with grilled deep-red meat, with game with a wintery sauce, with confit of fruity vegetables with pods, and with super-fresh white moulded cheese. Drinking temperature, after decanting: 18°C.
Wine Story
Frank era a Priorat più di un anno fa. L'unico contatto che avevo avuto con lui era al Prowein del 2019. Era stato un incontro breve, lui ascoltava attentamente i miei commenti mentre prendeva nota della sua degustazione. Alla fine ha semplicemente detto "ci sentiamo tra qualche mese". E così è stato. È venuto a Priorat in una giornata molto calda.
Leggere di piùFrank estuvo en Priorat hará mas de un año. El único contacto que había tenido con él era en la Prowein de 2019. Había sido una reunión corta, él escuchaba atentamente mis comentarios mientras tomaba nota de su cata. Al finalizar solo me dijo "hablamos en unos meses".
