Classic powerful broad red wine of intense ruby colour with fleshy tears. This famous grape blend from the Rhône also offers Down Under the same complexity in the nose with a lush palette of wild roses, small red fruit and almost overripe black currants on a duvet of dried spices. Unbelievably harmonious texture that is perfect to drink, but also guaranteed to last for another 10 years. Wide-ranging complex finish that lasts for seconds. The preferred partner of casseroles and one-pot dishes of game and slow cooked stew, and vegetable & potato mash with cabbage vegetables. Drinking temperature: 16°C.
