Gracious distinguished full-bodied white wine, with a lot of class. Brilliant, deep straw-yellow colour with green sparkle and strikingly vibrant diamond tears. Lusciously rich nose that goes in all directions, with white flowers at the start; ripe white fruit, such as conference and quince, nispero, ripe apricot and dried Mediterranean herbs, also touch of royal jelly and fennel. Broad, yet elegant and mouth-filling texture, with perfectly defined acids and ripe fruits that accentuate the creaminess. Something like delicate tannin in the finish that doesn't seem to stop. World-class wine at exceptional price/quality ratio. Stand firmly to be drunk on its own over an intellectual conversation, with grilled turbot on the bone with creamy mousseline sauce; with lobster with fennel and basmati; with Thai-style green and white vegetables, with aged hard cheeses. Serving temperature: 14°C, and preferably pour into a heart-shaped carafe.
