Distinctive, full bodied red wine. Intense deep black as stout with coloured tears. Nose of blueberries, fresh mushrooms, green peppers, earthy accents and ground black pepper. Powerful attack with firm tannins and strong acidity, tempered by the barrel aging. Long fruity-earthy aftertaste. Solid partner of grilled beef and buck. Goes also well with grilled sweet red peppers, risotto with wild mushrooms and white mould cheeses. Till 5 years decant several hours in advance. Serving temperature: 17°C.
