Powerful red wine with a lot of bravado, also in the ink-red colour with ditto tears. Spiciness dominates the aroma of this powerhouse, both fresh and dried, supported by blackcurrants and plums. Tight texture, where the tannins take the lead, but tempered by the low acidity and embraced by the long spicy aftertaste. Perfect wine for casseroles of game like jugged hare and wild boar ragout. Also with grilled fruity vegetables with spicy spices. Will be calmed down by solid matured cheeses. Drinking temperature, after decanting: 16°C
