Tasting notes

Characterful mature fortified red wine. Sparkling coppery colour with orange hues and tears. Spicy tertiary nose with dried stone fruits like almond and apricot, as well as exotic spices, vanilla and muntok pepper. Silky light sweetness with characterful acidity in a perfectly blended texture, extremely long spicy finish. Perfect after dinner drink, as well as with mature creamy washed rind cheese. Unique with the typical queijo da Serra da Estrela, almond cake and riz condé. Serving temperature: 15°C.
