Harmonieuze krachtige rode wijn. Matig intens granaatrode kleur met stevige tranen. Complexe neus van bereid fruit, droge kruiden en aardse accenten. Mondvullende textuur met ingetogen zuren en fluwelen tannines en een warme finale met zeer lange kruidige afdronk. Vraagt om gebraad van rood vlees, pluimwild of langzaam gegaarde knolgroenten en zachte specerijen. Schenkt°: 16°C

Vasco Maria Eugénio de Almeida was born in Lisbon in 1913, the son of one of the most affluent families of 19th century Portugal but soon established strong ties with Évora and the Alentejo where, thanks to the legacy of his paternal grandfather, the family owned a considerable patrimony in land and real estate.
