Karaktervolle evenwichtige fruitige wijn. Matig intense granaatrode kleur met stevige tranen. Complexe neus van bereide rode vruchten, kreupelhout en witte peper. Versmolten smaak met vlezige mondvulling, zachte tannines en warme finale, kruidige afdronk. Heerlijk glas wijn bij gesmoorde vleesgerechten en waterzooi van gevogelte, groene groentenstoemp en rijstschotels. Schenkt°: 16°C

Vasco Maria Eugénio de Almeida was born in Lisbon in 1913, the son of one of the most affluent families of 19th century Portugal but soon established strong ties with Évora and the Alentejo where, thanks to the legacy of his paternal grandfather, the family owned a considerable patrimony in land and real estate.
