Tasting notes
Full rich dry white wine with intense straw-yellow colour and thick tears. Nose of mature conference, peach, and Mediterranean herbs. Full-bodied, mouth-filling and yet quite playful, drinks well, juicy with a fairly pronounced aftertaste. Tasty drinking wine with pasta with white sauce, gratinated white vegetables, cod cooked in the oven, semi-hard soft cheeses. Serving temperature: 10°C.

Vasco Maria Eugénio de Almeida was born in Lisbon in 1913, the son of one of the most affluent families of 19th century Portugal but soon established strong ties with Évora and the Alentejo where, thanks to the legacy of his paternal grandfather, the family owned a considerable patrimony in land and real estate.
