Powerful, dry red wine. Deep, intense, and an almost black cherry color with dark tears. Rich nose full of spices, fresh leather and a black fruit basket; very juicy acids and strong tannins that guarantee a long life; very long luscious finish. Distinct game-and-grill wine that asks for a hearty piece of meat on the grill or oven-roasted wild meat. Spicy sauces area also very welcome! Also pairs nicely with au gratin or grilled sweet peppers and beef tomatoes, seasoned in the Mediterranean style and spicy fresh cheeses. Serve at 16 °C & decant an hour before serving adds something special to the wine.
