Notes de Dégustation
Vin blanc frais plein de caractère. Robe jaune-vert étincellante avec des larmes serrées. Nez exotique mêlant fraîcheur et maturité, avec de l’ananas, du silex et des notes citronnées. Bouche pleine de caractère mais rafraîchissante avec beaucoup de minéralité dans la texture. Arômes presque doux en fin de bouche d’une étonnante longueur. Merveilleux vin d’apéritif et vraiment funky. Parfaitement à l’aise dans les réceptions ou cocktails. Délicieux avec des fromages à pâte molle. Température de service: 8°C.
Wine Story
What began as a festive three barrel foot stomp event attended by a handful of friends on a south peninsula beach in 1996, produced a very palatable Syrah, and saw the founding in 1997 of the first true micro-winery in the Western Cape with Pinot Noir the main focus. The aptly named Barefoot Winery trading as Catherine Marshall Wines has long outgrown its humble origins to become a legendary institution and exporting to a number of markets world- wide. Our philosophy is to produce wines that are distinctive, serious in intent but to have a lot of fun doing it.
