Tasting notes

Frivolous, playful and smooth drinking soft white wine. Bright straw yellow with large tears. Dusty nose with honey and sweet small berries, delicate spicy hint. Soft, almost sweet velvety flavour with dry undertones and a cheeky character. Juicy fruity finish. Nice to enjoy on its own or with exotic salads and vegetables pies. Goes also surprisingly well with tempura, deep-fried croquettes and semi-hard abbey cheeses. Serving temperature: 8°C.

Wine Story

Coto de Gomariz was founded by my father: Ricardo Carreiro Ameijeiras (Caco) in the seventies, when he managed to return to his homeland after emigrating to South America like so many other Galicians and fulfill a dream: to make wines that were recognized all over the world and return Gomariz to its prestige as a historic wine-growing area. One of his achievements in the world of viticulture was to collaborate actively in the creation of the Ribeiro D.O. after his work as secretary of the Leiro Council, where the first Galician wine cooperative was founded in 1957, when the first statutes were written that later regulated the Ribeiro D.O.

Ribeiro.
