Tasting notes

Rosé sparkling wine with absolute respect for nature. Bright pink brilliant colour with tiny delicate sparkle. Nose of little red and pink berries with mineral undertones. Creamy taste full of small berries and gossamer acids, sublime texture completely in balance thanks to the soft cream of the millions of bubbles. Absolute winner as an aperitif but also with fine cuisine with pink meat or raw marinated beef, grilled seafood and cheeses with washed rind. Serving temperature: 10°C

Wine Story

We knew Frank more than 20 years ago; I don't remember the moment or occasion well, but I can say that those were difficult years for Raventós i Blanc; and we felt him close; encouraging us to continue dreaming of being a world benchmark among prestigious sparkling wines. From the beginning he understood the essence of our project.

During these years, I have seen him come and go from Belgium to Spain, always stopping at Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, where we could enjoy his company, while he enjoyed the farm, the vineyard and the countryside; getting more and more of our passion.

In love with Spain, he traveled our old roads in search of forgotten Paradores; located in incredible places where you could soak up its beauty and historic architecture.

One of our last trips to Belgium was made by my father, Manuel Raventós, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Frank's company; he returned delighted, overwhelmed by his generous hospitality. He not only opened his house to us to organize a dinner with wine producers that we admire; In addition, he did so by creating a relaxed and cordial atmosphere that is only achieved thanks to the humane treatment of Frank and his family.

Conocimos a Frank hace ya más de 20 años; no recuerdo bien el momento u ocasión, pero puedo decir que eran momentos difíciles para Raventós i Blanc; y lo sentíamos cerca; animándonos a seguir soñando con ser un referente mundial entre los espumosos de prestigio. Desde el principio entendió la esencia de nuestro proyecto.

Durante estos años, lo he visto ir y venir de Bélgica a España, haciendo siempre parada en Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, donde podíamos disfrutar de su compañía, mientras él disfrutaba de la granja, el viñedo y el campo; contagiándose cada vez más de nuestra pasión.

Enamorado de España, recorría nuestras viejas carreteras en busca de Paradores ya olvidados; ubicados en parajes increíbles donde podía así impregnarse de su belleza e histórica arquitectura.

Uno de nuestros últimos viajes a Bélgica, lo realizó mi padre, Manuel Raventós, para celebrar el 25 aniversario de la empresa de Frank; volvió encantado, abrumado por su generosa hospitalidad; no sólo nos abrió su casa para organizar una cena con elaboradores que admiramos; además lo hizo creando un ambiente relajado y cordial que se consigue solamente gracias al trato humano de Frank y su familia.
