Crystal clear full straw yellow wine with solid tears. Opulent aroma with ripe stone fruit, bold spiciness and earthy tones. Bone-dry texture firmly supported by balanced acids and controlled alcohol. Long lush aftertaste with ripe finale. Asks for pure dishes of mainly white meat and poultry, river fish and root vegetables. A matured hard cheese is also welcome. Serving temperature: 10°C, preferably after decanting in a carafe for half an hour.
While winemaking in the Armenian Highlands began some 6.100 years ago, Naré Wines celebrates its more recent history. In the 20th century, Armenia became the soviet capital of brandy, “Soviet Champansky,” and limited still wines. Naré’s label design is a callback to the stoic aesthetic of those days.
In true Soviet style, Naré’s red and white blends are crafted to be wines of the people. An everyday delight, these subtle and balanced wines marry unique Armenian indigenous varieties with their more widespread european counterparts.
Park your Lada, play some Arno Babajanian, gather your closest comrades, and enjoy Naré!
