Tasting notes

Authentic elegant white biodynamic class wine. Deep intense straw yellow color with golden tears. Broad mineral nose attack full of white pome fruit and citrus. Wonderful balance of taste with frisky play between acids, alcohol and discreet wood notes. Almost unctuous in the very long aftertaste with spicy final. The perfect partner for rich white fish dishes and shellfish in sauces with fresh herbs such as dill or chives. Delicious with baked asparagus, also with slow-ripened hard cheeses. Serving temperature: 12°C.

Movia was passed into the hands of Kristancic family with a wedding in 1820. Today Movia family owns 24 hectares of land, half of which is on Italian side of Goriska Brda-Collio. Movia produces range of organic white, red, sparkling and orange wines, produced with natural farming method, with greatest respect for nature, no unnecessary interfearance from the winemaker, no filtration and with non or minimum Sulphur addition. Our wines are known for great aging-potential, maturity, long maceration and their purity.
