Tasting notes
Intense powerful dry red wine. Deep cherry colour with heavily coloured tears. Spicy aroma with black fruit and plums, cinnamon and pepper. Complex texture with firm, yet fused tannins, ripe fruit, integrated alcohol and a very long spicy finish. Requires equally complex dishes, preferably oven dishes and casseroles, stew and game ragout, gratinated and grilled root vegetables, ratatouille and white mould cheeses. Best to decant half an hour before serving. Serving temperature: 16°C
Wine Story
I started this project more than 15 years ago with a lot of enthusiasm to save the history of these lands through the recovery of centenary and pre-phylloxera Tempranillo vineyards, thus avoiding the extinction of one of its most recognized grape varieties: the Albillo Mayor.
I embarked on it by surrounding myself with a team that got involved with me in this vital adventure. During all these years I have shared my day-to-day life with people who have contributed a great deal of work and dedication to the wines of Ermita del Conde. Wines made with soul and a lot of love to achieve a very authentic and quality result.

Me embarqué en él rodeándome de un equipo que se involucró conmigo en esta aventura tan vital. Durante todos estos años he compartido mi día a día con personas que han aportado un gran trabajo y dedicación a los vinos de Ermita del Conde. Vinos hechos con alma y con mucho cariño para conseguir un resultado muy auténtico y de calidad.
